Gluten Free Cinnamon Bread Recipe – Simple

One of my favorite gluten free bread recipes to make is gluten free cinnamon bread. I make it in the bread machine but you don’t have to (although nice) you can also do this for the oven method.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Package Gluten Free Bread Mix (Yeast Included)
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2-3 Teaspoons Cinnamon
  • Apple Cider (Optional)
  • 1/3 Cup Raisins (Optional)
You will need a bread mix. Whether you make your own mix or buy a gluten free bread mix doesn’t matter. I just use the mixes because they come with all of the ingredients already. Yeast, Xanthan Gum, etc. And, they taste very good. Nothing like cardboard – lol!
Prepare the mix as stated on the package directions (see my tips for baking gluten free bread here.) If you like your cinnamon bread a little bit sweeter, substitute the liquid for apple cider.  This is delicious.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together until well blended.
If you are making this in the bread machine, just follow the directions as usual. The only difference is that you will need to add your cinnamon mixture after the bread machine has finished it’s kneading cycle completely. Otherwise, it will just mix all the cinnamon in and we don’t want that. We want it to be marbled. Fold in the cinnamon mixture 5 or 6 times and then let the bread rise and bake like normal.
If you are using the oven method, just fold in the cinnamon mixture after you have kneaded/mixed the bread mix and are ready to let it rise. Then bake as usual.
You will get a perfectly marbled loaf of cinnamon bread.
