My hubby and I travel quite a bit and so finding gluten free restaurants with a safe menu is always a quest! However, with the increasing demand for gluten free dining options more and more restaurants are offering Gluten-free menus.

Restaurants are discovering that if anyone in a family is gluten-free the whole family will only eat at a restaurant that they can all dine safely at and if they do not offer gluten-free options customers will take their business elsewhere.

When we go out to dinner we only eat at restaurants that have a gluten free menu. Lar doesn’t have a problem with gluten, but I do so it’s only natural that we go to a restaurant where we can both eat.

Last month we ate at Outback Steakhouse and what a pleasure it was.

We asked our server for a gluten free menu and we had it in minutes. Everything was clearly marked and our server was well informed about gluten free restrictions. We ordered Shrimp On the Barbie as an appetizer and it was served on Romaine lettuce leaves instead of dark bread, but tasted just as yummy as always!

Our food was good, our server was great and well informed. I felt safe, relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely eat there a lot more often.
