Dominos Has Gluten-Free Pizza!!!
17:52
The crust is just a little chewy (something that gluten usually is responsible for providing) and tastes delicious. In fact, I would rather have their gf pizza than any pizza from any of the major chain restaurants. You owe it to yourself to give it a try if possible!
I say, give it a try, if possible, because although the pizza is awesome, the gluten-laden environment in which it is made is not ideal. All of us who deal with ordering gluten free while dining out (or getting take-out), know the importance of talking to a manager to ensure that all precautions are taken to avoid cross contamination.
Lewis is the manager at my local Dominos. I always ask for him when ordering. He gets it right everytime! My daughter, Lindsay, who has celiac, has never gotten sick as a result of eating Dominos GF pizza. Lewis uses the marinara out of a “squirt” bottle for the pizza rather than using the main container of sauce thus avoiding a likely contamination source. He makes the pizza in a different area managing the process from start to finish. My advice, go in and talk to your Dominos manager before placing your first order. See if you reach a comfort level with their understanding of the importance and commitment to getting it right.
We have been very pleased!! Our normal 1 hour, round trip, run to get Friday night GF pizza has been reduced to a quick 10 minute ride into town to get an awesome GF pizza pie from our local Dominos.
